I’ve been listening to some new music lately and I’m loving it. Here is a list of the songs that I’ve favorited in the past couple of weeks.
Starting with the infamous Guns N’Roses new album “Chinese Democracy” is an interesting listen, with their track “I.R.S” it is a new and spectacular look at how we’re viewed as citizens of the world. Then the song “Street of Dreams” brings the classic musical elements from their popular tracks such as November Rain with an intro consisting of piano. Overall I’ll give this album a 4.5 stars out of 6 (yes my rating ssytem is different). The album brings back memories of classis hard rock and ride is an amazing rollercoaster one.
Another great album which was released fairly recently is my all-time favorite band “U2”, they’ve been together as a band for over 30 years which is a very hard a daring accomplishment by any musical talent. And if history is any predictability it shows that Irish are known for loyality and friendship which lasts decades (also seen in the somewhat popular movie “The Boondock Saints”). The album that U2 released this month is “No Line on the Horizon” the melodies go back to the roots of U2 and you can expect the similar rythmic and bass lines which will endure with you. some of my favorite songs from this album would be “Magnificent”, “I’ll go crazy if I don’t go crazy tonight”, “Unknown Caller”, and ofcourse the hit single “Get On Your Boots” which in itself is an addictive song.
The All-American Rejects also released a new album with my favorit track “Fallin’ Apart” a pretty catchy with the classic All-American Rejects melodies and rythm/chorus creation. Highly recommend it!
